This was filmed in March 2018 after a phone call with a powerhouse woman whom I met at an event in NYC. We exchanged emails and set up a call. I was seeking advice on my business IN THE UNKNOWN. After chatting for close to an hour, I felt called to record this video because of the many times I had let FEAR step in the way of ASKING FOR HELP. It's a tough balance: being confident in yourself, your brand, and your product vs. asking for help. Simply put: you don't want to seem like you don't know your shit or you're not on top of it. What are the risks? Someone calling you a fraud, someone pointing out your poor work ethic, someone abandoning ship, pulling out, etc. These can be overwhelming fears but the upside is immensely greater. The Upside is that someone may actually LISTEN and HEAR YOU, and offer up some great advice, or a suggestion, or an introduction to another powerhouse in their circle. The options are limitless. In my world: it's much more promising to take the leap of faith and to ask for help, then to let PRIDE and EGO get in the way for the sake of seeming like you've got your shit together.
Q: What in your life right now needs help?
